While the existing Maven Beauty brand leaned into bold, colorful branding, Nova Beauty was positioned with a sleeker and more minimalist visual identity inspired by luxury beauty competitors.
The brand’s design direction focused on soft-touch packaging, clean typography, and understated components that convey sophistication while maintaining the accessibility and affordability Fashion Nova is known for. This approach allowed the brand to appeal to customers seeking a more polished, premium feeling beauty experience.
Nova Beauty launched in 2022 with a debut collection centered around lip products. The initial rollout established the brand’s visual foundation through cohesive packaging, product presentation, and marketing assets that reflected its elegant and modern positioning within the competitive cosmetics market.
